Happy Valentines Day........

On Saturday, we decided to go down to Ikea for breakfast. We ordered 2 Scrambled Eggs set & 1 longtong. It sounded like a lot for 2 adults & 1 child, but amazingly, Baby G ate more than half of the Scrambled Eggs set and let me say, it was a relatively huge set. Ended up, I only had half of the longtong and the leftover of what Baby G couldn't finish.

From L->R :- The scrambled eggs breakfast set (before, during & after).

After breakfast, we walked around Ikea, but after less than 10mins, Baby G told us he was feeling sleepy (must be becoz of the super-heavy breakfast he had). So we left Ikea for home and he fell asleep in the car within minutes.

In the evening, Daddy took us to Northpoint for dinner. Actually, it was a food court that served all Japanese food. We choose Salmon Omelette Rice, Chicken Terriyaki pasta & Seafood pizza. The place was so crowded that we had to share seats with others, so didn't really managed to snap enough photos of the food we ate as the cramped space made it difficult for me to maneuver. I only managed to take this photo of Daddy & Baby G sharing the pizza.

--> Baby G only liked the crust of the pizza

After dinner, we went to Yishun library to pay Daddy's fines (we can no longer borrow if the fines are not cleared... heh heh). We then borrowed his favourite aeroplane & train books. The moment he saw the aeroplane book, he took it and sat on the stool to read.

--> He looks so studious here... hahaha.....

We did some shopping after that, checked out the partially renovated Northpoint. Nothing much at the moment, perhaps it'll be better when it's fully completed. By the time we reached home, it was about 9-plus and Baby G was pretty shacked out. We finally had some alone time together and celebrated V-day with wine & desserts & some channel-surfing on MioTV.

Ouch..... Again!

Poor Baby G!! And a 'Tsk Tsk Tsk' to Student Z. Another case of Baby G being bitten.

According to the note written in the notebook, none of the teachers realised he was bitten until he came sobbing to them & told them what happened. As no one saw anything, they were not sure if it was Student Z again. I asked Baby G who bit him and Baby G told me it was Student Z.

The next morning when I dropped him off at school, I happened to meet Student Z & his dad and the funny thing was another girl student, MT came up to Baby G & Student Z and said the words "Student Z bite Baby G". After hearing this, I was even more convinced that Baby G was telling the truth. The dad either did not hear what MT said or just simply ignored it. In his haste to leave, he left his car keys on the table. So I called out to him that he forgot his keys. He turned back, said "oh"... took his keys & walked off without looking at me. What a rude fellow!! Totally no basic sense of courtesy whatsoever! Not even a simple 'thank you'. Hmmmm.... is it a case of "Like Father.. Like Son"?

I called the Centre Manager to further discuss on the biting issue and as usual, the same "promises" were given. I also checked if Baby G was the only one that Student Z bites and she admitted that he has bitten other kids too. I asked her if she has talked to his parents about all these incidents but I felt that she did not give a very convincing reply.

On a separate note, I also called MCYS to see what things can be done to improve the situation. I'm still waiting for the officer to call me for a discussion.

Poor Baby G has quite a few "scars" on him now. Although all the bites eventually heal; for some of them, can still see the faint markings of the bites.

Lo Hei... Huat Ah!

It's been quite a while since we last got together. ES arranged for a get-together at B's & P's place but we ended up at PH's & VT's cosy abode instead.

We ordered dinner from Le Xin Seafood and after waiting for almost 1.5hrs for the dinner to arrive, we finally had our Lo Hei.

Ren Ri (人日)

Today is the 7th day of the Lunar New Year which is everyone's birthday. Instead of the usual Sunday dinner at my MIL's place, we decided to invite everyone to our place instead. We started out early in the morning for our grocery shopping. We stopped by IKEA for breakfast where Baby G enjoyed his crossiant & egg breakfast tremendously.

<-- Yummy -->

After IKEA, we went over to Giant. We had to shop quickly cause Baby G became really tired (must be from the cough mixture given to him in the morning) and fell asleep on my shoulder. Daddy had to quickly find all his ingredients while I was carrying Baby G. We made it out in record time (all within 30mins).

Baby G slept for quite a while, which gave me sufficient time to clear up the place a little.

Everyone arrived around 6plus. As usual, initially, Baby G was pretty unfriendly, but after he warmed up, he started to give everyone his 'Barney' stickers. Quite funny to see all the stickers on us.

Baby G even made ShuShu be his very own 'Ox'.

After dinner, we went down to the Anchorvale CC to catch the floats from Chingay. It was almost an hour's wait before we actually got to see them. Here are some of the pictures of the floats.
