As Baby G's concert is around the corner, we decided to take advantage of the holiday to get him his white shoes & socks for his performance. We went down to Bata at Peninsula cause that's one of the bigger outlets around. True enough, they actually have an entire floor dedicated to shoes for kids. There was even a pool of balls for the kids to play in. We managed to find a pair for him, although it looked pretty close to his existing Adidas pair. Hahahaha.

After that we shopped around and took some early pics of Xmas.

Our final stop was Bugis' JCo.

Happy Anniversary

It's a special day today as it's our traditional wedding anniversary. I'm thankful that Daddy managed to get a day off his busy schedule to spend the entire day together.

Early morning, we sent Baby G to school. This time he cried and refused to go to school. He kept crying & saying "I want to go home and do my colouring". Even his favourite 王老师 couldn't persuade him to go in. He had to be pried out of my arms. We could still hear him crying in the toilet when we left.

We then went to AMK to have our breakfast, do our banking & look around for some household items that needed upgrading. We also dropped by Waterloo Street to buy some toys for Baby G which actually are his rewards for doing his colouring & his work.

For lunch, we went to the White Rose Cafe at York Hotel. I like it that it was almost empty and quiet. It's so rare to have a chance to dine where there isn't a 3-year old who keeps talking non-stop. It was simply so relaxing.

After the relaxing afternoon lunch, we went home for a short rest before picking Baby G up to go out for dinner.
When we went to his school to pick him up, 王老师 told us the reason why he cried so much in the morning. She said that when he calmed down, she asked him why he cried and didn't want to go to school. Baby G told her that Mummy & Daddy did not go to work & went "kai kai". Haha, so poor thing. He must have realised that Mummy & Daddy were not wearing their usual 'office wear' when we dropped him off in the morning. 王老师 commented that he's very observant.
Dinner was at Vivocity's Dian Xiao Er. We had a wonderful meal. Every dish tasted great, especially the duck cooked in special herbal sauce & the fried tou fu. Baby G also enjoyed his meal very much. He finished half a bowl of rice, while I had the other half. After our meal, we took a stroll outside as the weather was so cooling. We managed to catch the Superstar Virgo docked there and Baby G was simply amazed at the size of the ship, although he kept asking why the ship was 'on fire' due to the smoke emitting from the ship.

Timezone Mania

Early Sunday morning, Baby G woke up to request for his milk. Actually, it's not request, but shouting from his room "Mummy, I want to drink milk milk". If I do not answer him, he'll continue to shout until I respond.

Since I was already up, I decided to make a simple breakfast of soup & garlic bread; actually, the main reason was that I had 2 jars of chopped garlic that would go to waste if I didn't use them.

After our breakfast, the boys lazed around the house while I did my chores.

Lunch was a simple pasta dish. Baby G only ate at about 2pm, after he woke up from his nap.

Before going over to Ah Ma's place, we went to Compasspoint to run some errands.
(1) Return my library books.
(2) Go to Singtel shop to settle some billing inaccuracies.
(3) Pop over to OCBC to check out their latest promotions.

As the queue to Singtel was super duper long, we went over to Timezone for some noisy fun. The computerized bowling game that Baby G used to play was out of order, so we let him play the more traditional bowling game. He started out standing a distance from the pins & releasing the ball, but later he realised he wasn't really getting a good score, so he walked closer and closer to the pins before releasing. But I think he was too close and ended up with an even lousier scoreline. In the end, he won 4 tickets, I didn't really notice the actual score though.

Baby G's Creations

Recently Baby G started taking out his LEGO set to play, I suspect it's because of the 'Build A Brick' commercial that's been showing on TV.

Here are some of his creations.

Notice that Baby G always uses up all the bricks, leaving only 1 of bricks behind. Probably that's because it's the only brick having a different size from the others.

I wonder what will he build next.....
