"Buah Duku"

Received a call from the childcare this afternoon. Got a bit of a surprise when NaNa teacher said that Baby G fell down and hurt his head, resulting in a bruise on his forehead.

When I came home, he even re-enacted the scene by lying down on the floor, showing how he fell down. Quite funny actually.

That's Baby G with the bruise.....

Daddy's Birthday

Today is AT's birthday. We planned for lots of activities for the day, but unfortunately, AT was hit by diarrhoea in the wee hours of the morning.

I sent Baby G to school while AT rested at home. Baby G & myself walked all the way to school, so proud of him for not asking me to 'bao bao' him. Along the way, he named all the different types of vehicles that he saw, ranging from his favourite motorbike to the big rubbish truck. It was a slow & relaxing walk and so glad of the chance to be able to spend the quality time with him.
When it was time to pick Baby G up, AT was feeling much better after the rest, so both of us went together to the childcare centre. Baby G was really surprised to see us, not to mention so happy that he ignored the teachers and just wanted to go home. He didn't even say his customary 'bye bye's to all the teachers. Even the teacher mentioned that he's so 'proud'. Haha.

After Baby G took his afternoon nap & his lunch-cum-dinner, we finally left the house to go for our 1st stop : The Singapore Flyer. We took the 6pm ride which lasted about 30mins. The view was really nice but Baby G was only interested in looking over the Benjamin Sheares Bridge for his 'cement mixers' and 'road diggers'.

Baby G : This 'cement mixer' is taken especially for you.

After the ride, we went over to Popeye's for dinner. It's kinda like KFC, only more expensive. Haha. KFC's chicken are better, but Popeye's mashed potatoes are great. It's aromatically-spiced (if there is such a word). They even served scones which was an interesting combination. AT enjoyed the meal though.

We then went to Suntec for coffee @ Gloria Jeans... the selection was pretty limited but the hot chocolate we ordered tasted really nice. Baby G enjoyed the cup of water that he was allowed to have.

And finally.... a birthday cake for AT.......

HAPPY BIRTHDAY.......

Celebrating with the Teo Family

Today's celebration of AT's birthday was with the Teo family.

1st stop was lunch at Zi Yean along Orchard due to the 50% discount that they had. We met GuGu at the car park and Baby G kept saying 'GuGu car... GuGu car... beep beep'. GuGu carried Baby G all the way to the restaurant and no one could pry Baby G out of GuGu's arms. GuGu was on cloud nine.

Here's AhMa trying her luck, but failing.

Food was so-so.... lots of fried stuff on the menu. We even ordered the birthday buns for the birthday boy.

After lunch, we went for a shopping trip and we bought Baby G his water bottle. Surprisingly, he actually chose a Marvel Heroes design instead of the 'Cars' (Cartoon from Pixar).

Dinner was at Swensons (coz the Manhatten Fish Market was closed for renovations). Here's Baby G ordering from the menu. Haha... like he knows what's going on.

And finally a family shot ....... I like this photo the best... although it does look like I need to go on a diet liao....

Happy Birthday, Baby G's daddy!!

Celebrating Daddy's Birthday

Today, we spent the entire day celebrating daddy's birthday.

For lunch, we went to Nihon Village @ YCK. Mama & GongGong gave daddy a jap treat... yum yum. I like the Chawanmushi and tofu. I wanted the sashimi, but mummy said I'm not allowed to eat raw food. Never mind, my time will come.

After lunch, we went home for my afternoon nap.... else, I'll be a very cranky boy in the evening.

For dinner, we went out with mummy's & daddy's friends. We went to Lerk Thai @ Marina Square. Food was so-so, but everyone said the green curry was nice. I was not allowed the curry, but took the pineapple rice instead. I didn't like the pineapple though, just the rice.

After dinner, we walked around. Fox Kids had a 50% discount & Auntie Pat shopped for clothes for Gwyn mei mei and Chloe jie jie.

We had coffee at the usual TCC @ Millenia. Over there, I enjoyed myself so much, chasing after Chloe jie jie. It's so fun playing with her.

I heard mummy saying that she needs to start dieting on Monday after the weekend of pigging out. Jia you, mummy.

Dinner @ Central (Taka)

Today mummy & daddy were on leave. I thought I could also 'skip' school but it was not to be. They had their own plans.. which I found out later was that they went for a couple's spa. Cool.

But we did go out for dinner at Central at Taka. Somehow, today's food wasn't as nice as the last. I had the chee cheong fun (that one tasted better than it looks) and a bit of mum's baked cheese rice.

Daddy didn't even finish his rice cause the taste was really unappealing.

There was a Toy Fair at the atrium and I had a whale of a time there. There were so many things to see and play, but the one I enjoyed most was seeing the remote-controlled toy helicopter. Daddy was in a generous mood and decided to buy a toy aeroplane for me instead as the helicopter was just too big for me to handle. Can't wait to go home to play with it.

Daddy even bought me a yellow-coloured hooded towel for me when I go swimming, so that I won't catch a cold. Had to settle for yellow as they ran out of blue and I wouldn't be caught dead in pink.

After that, we walked over to Paragon and there's a mini-playground on the 5th floor. I climbed up and down the slide... wheeee.... it was so fun.

This weekend, we'll be celebrating daddy's birthday. Sat with my gonggong, mama, yeeyee for lunch. Sat again with my mummy's & daddy's friends for dinner. Sun with ahma, ahgong, gugu, shushu, yeepo for high tea and dinner. I'm going to enjoy pigging out. Hopefully, they'll squeeze in a trip to MacDonald's. Heh heh, I love their french fries (and as I say it 'fen fies').
