BBQ @ Costa Del Sol

On Saturday, we were invited to a BBQ at Costa Del Sol, new home to VT & PH. The place was really nice. The basement carpark was pretty huge, it was almost like parking at Suntec, we almost couldn't find our car when we were about to leave. (Suggestion to Costa Del Sol : Colour code your car parks.)

The BBQ pit was near the playground and the swimming pool. As we reached there quite late in the evening, the swimming plans were abandoned. Instead the children had so much fun at the playground where they flexed their gymnastic skills.

The kids were in an especially accomodating mood and allowed me to take pictures of them. Some even posed for me.

As usual, Baby G was very happy to have so many friends to play with. He ran around the playground like wild monkey, climbing up & down the structures.

The food was really nice, especially the sambal sotong that was in high demand. Not to forget all the cooks that made the food so delicious.

CNY Celebration @ Ben & Pat's

Today Ben & Pat invited us over to their new place to celebrate CNY. It was a family & friends get-together. We had vegetarian buffet, a first for us. But I must say, the food was delicious, especially the mock mutton rendang. I had 2 servings of it.

It was a rare chance for Baby G to have friends of his own age to play with. He certainly had a lot of fun, especially with Zac gor-gor. He even has a little competitive streak in him; whatever Zac gor-gor did, he didn't want to lose out and followed him. These are some of their little antics.

==> See how Baby G didn't want to lose out.. haha

After a while, the rest of the kids in the room started to follow the 2 boys.

CNY always comes with a little gambling fun.. here are the 'players'...
And you know who the winner is.....

Thanks to Ben, Pat & the 3 missys for a wonderful time.
HAPPY CNY!

Plants for CNY

Last Saturday, we dropped by Sinflora to get our CNY plants. As usual, I will always get the bamboos & the 金钱树.

Baby G was pretty excited to see so many different types of plants & flowers. We were weaving in and out of all the pots to get to the plants we wanted.

Now, Baby G is helping me to water my plants every other day. As he may be too zealous in his efforts, I always tell him to spray each plant 10 times in case he over-waters my plants.
