ES & DY Birthday Celebration

Today we celebrated ES's (belated) and DY's birthday at Fish & Co @ Velocity. Food wasn't too bad, the grilled calamari was pretty good, better than the fried ones.

We had Fungi (a.k.a. mushroom) pasta and fishs & chips. Baby G had some of the pasta and chips. He didn't really eat much, probably because he had a bowl of porridge an hour ago. But he ate a lot of the pocky & Mickey biscuits that Daddy brought from home.

As always, the company was great. Here are some pics...

Movies In The Park.... Not

We planned to go down to Class95's 'Movies In The Park' on Saturday. However, we went down quite late and also, Baby G didn't like the loud music coming from the speakers.. so in the end, we just stayed for a while and left without catching the movie. I was quite disappointed, but well, there's always a next time.

Since Baby G didn't like the 'Movies In The Park', we drove down to Central to have our dinner. We decided on Pasta de Waraku and chanced upon a 1-for-1 deal. Cool!

After our hearty meal, we passed by the Hokkaido ice cream just outside of Central. Without hesitation, we order 2 scoops for the 3 of us. Needless to say, Baby G simply loved the ice cream.

Zoo

Our zoo trip began with such a beautiful weather. We woke up early to prepare the sandwiches for the trip & we even had time for some campbell soup & garlic bread prepared by Daddy.

Off we went... Baby G was pretty excited to "go see a lot of animals".

While the families waited for Daddy to get the tickets for the 2 toddlers, Baby G happily posed for me & the rest, I took some candid shots.

Baby G kept telling us he wanted to see tigers, monkeys & elephants. But after watching one of the shows with some monkeys in them, Baby G wasn't too keen to see them any more. Not sure why though. Anyways, he was still excited to see the white tiger, giraffe & zebra.

We dropped by the Kids Waterworld for the benefit of all the little ones too. In the end, only Zac & Baby G went down to play. Baby G got himself all wet, but I think he enjoyed himself. In fact, he kept splashing water til Zac & uncle DY were wet. Lucky I stayed away from all the splashing water since I did not bring an extra set for myself, only got my feet wet.

At the Kids World, there was also an area where you could feed the farm animals (mostly goats). We decided to buy the food, even though in the back of our minds, we'd thought that Baby G may not want to ty it, but to our pleasant surprise, he gamely fed the goats with leaves, carrots & long beans.

There were also many little play areas or obstacles for the little ones to play and even the "older" ones too....

Goodbye everyone, so when's the next gathering?

By the way, I must tell everyone that Baby G walked together with us, he did not once ask us to carry him. We're so proud of him. Well done, Baby G.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Reia

We were invited to Reia's 2nd birthday on Sat. Baby G was quite excited to be going to a birthday party. He kept asking me whose present I was wrapping and kept asking "is it for me?". Sorry to disappoint you, but it's for Reia 妹妹. Since it was an animal theme, I put him in a outfit that had an elephant on it.

When we reached there, Auntie Hot Mama gave Baby G a zebra hairband for him. Don't you think he looks so 'pretty'? Haha.

As usual, Hot Mama did a wonderful job of decorating the place. Kudos to Hot Mama. Baby G was initially very shy and didn't dare to be on his own. Soon he lost his shyness and began playing with the toys in Reia's room. We were able to leave him alone while we watched TV. Soon it was cake-cutting time, Baby G sang along with everyone, but he wasn't too keen on joining the photo taking on his own with the rest of the kids. Shy again, sigh.

To amuse himself, he took my camera and started taking random shots. Here's a collection of some of the photos he took. Not too bad.
Baby G's skills are improving.

Happy Birthday Reia!
