I sent Baby G to school while AT rested at home. Baby G & myself walked all the way to school, so proud of him for not asking me to 'bao bao' him. Along the way, he named all the different types of vehicles that he saw, ranging from his favourite motorbike to the big rubbish truck. It was a slow & relaxing walk and so glad of the chance to be able to spend the quality time with him.
When it was time to pick Baby G up, AT was feeling much better after the rest, so both of us went together to the childcare centre. Baby G was really surprised to see us, not to mention so happy that he ignored the teachers and just wanted to go home. He didn't even say his customary 'bye bye's to all the teachers. Even the teacher mentioned that he's so 'proud'. Haha.
After Baby G took his afternoon nap & his lunch-cum-dinner, we finally left the house to go for our 1st stop : The Singapore Flyer. We took the 6pm ride which lasted about 30mins. The view was really nice but Baby G was only interested in looking over the Benjamin Sheares Bridge for his 'cement mixers' and 'road diggers'.
Baby G : This 'cement mixer' is taken especially for you.
After the ride, we went over to Popeye's for dinner. It's kinda like KFC, only more expensive. Haha. KFC's chicken are better, but Popeye's mashed potatoes are great. It's aromatically-spiced (if there is such a word). They even served scones which was an interesting combination. AT enjoyed the meal though.
We then went to Suntec for coffee @ Gloria Jeans... the selection was pretty limited but the hot chocolate we ordered tasted really nice. Baby G enjoyed the cup of water that he was allowed to have.
And finally.... a birthday cake for AT.......
San
hugs & kisses
